Hooking up the 12vDC relay for a mister system

Mister system is currently hooked up and running on a little battery and switch.

I would like to eventually run it into the electronics of the machine and have the Gcode turn it on for metal applications. Is there any documentation on this?

I would settle, for now, for just running the 12VDC power from the electronics box and using a switch. I am uncertain where to find any schematics for this.

Thanks

There aren’t really any pins on the controller you can tap into for this. However, we have used some current-sensing power strips to do things like turn on a vacuum automatically when the router/spindle is activated. You might be able to piggyback off that to link the activation of your mister to the spindle.
