When in “Edit Nodes” mod, when I click S to make a node a curve, it gives me 2 arms to control it with. Is there a way to separate the two arms so you can have a curve on just one side of a node? Or a different curve coming to the node from each side?
In the past I swear some of my nodes have had just one arm, or two arms that could be controlled separately, but I could never figure out how to do that on purpose.
Also, another note about nodes. In node edit mode, I used to be able to snap a node to another node on an unselected path, now it only snaps to grid, is there any way to change that back?
Hold down the ALT key to control an arm independently.
Hmm, I can snap a node to another node. But if the grid point is very close it wants to snap to the grid instead. Make the grid bigger, turn off Snap to grid in the View menu, or zoom in further.
Is there a way to temporarily disable snap (whether to node or grid) whilst in Edit mode? Something like holding down CTRL or ALT? I often have to cancel out, disable snap, then go back in and finish what I eas trying to do. And then enable snap again of course.
