Hi Alexander,
A Brit is a Brit in my book,

It’s easy, ask candidates to pronounce “Aluminium” and “Solder”

Was trying to solder aluminium to boot of my car, when I got a call on my mobile that went to answerphone, and I dropped it on the pavement. Had to go out to fix it, pulled on a pair of trousers and head for the high street. The boffins at Apple took a butcher’s and said it was up the spout, so I threw it in the bin.

Back in the 90s I learned that if a New Yoiker shouts “Get off the pavement” they are not asking more pedestrians to play in the traffic.
