I have a project with several holes with same diameter each that will be used for screws, now I change the screw sizes, and all the holes should have different diameters. How to?
Carbide Create does not support this in the current version. It would be necessary to select and change each in turn.
If you want that sort of thing automated you may want to consider a parametric CAD tool such as Alibre Atom3D:
Would creating an offset on the old holes to the new screw size work? Then just delete the old holes, group the new holes and assign a new toolpath to them.
Honestly that is a good work around. I just did that the other day when setting up my work holding spoil board projects and I got the wrong threaded inserts.
What I did was created a layer for the new ones that I added with the correct radius, then I hit select all for the previous holes and deleted them all at once.
Jeff: that’s it!!! TY!
When I tried something similar the offsets were not really circles. They looked like circles but had waay more nodes. That was a while back though and may not matter for your use case.
