How to change the default pocket roughing tool shown in V carve

I’m trying to change the default roughing tool listed under the V carve tab. Does anyone know how to change it?

I’m running Carbide Create Pro, Build 815

I don’t think there is a default. CC tracks the last used tool(s) in
C:\Users<user>\AppData\Local\Carbide 3D\Carbide Create\settings.ini

Tod1D describes exactly how V8 has worked for me, actually for any tool path I create it uses the last bit used.

Thanks for everyone’s input.
I just checked it again. with my current software, if I save the project and then close out of Carbide Create, it does not remember my preferred .312" high performance roughing tool. Then open the very same file again, then do another V-carve process, it goes back to the “1/8 default” tool. I then have to go through several clicks to locate my preferred tool again and then it will stay until I close out of the CAM system again.
