Kind of mystified by why you chose to model in 3D:
when all the modeling is flat/prismatic and don’t really make use of 3D features, but still imposes the limit of tool size.
Then, in your toolpaths, you make use of Contour and Pocket toolpaths, ignoring the 3D model.
A more usual approach would be to just do an Advanced V carving with a depth limit:
which would then preview as:
