How to differentiate Sequence vs. Grouping in Toolpaths

I like to Group toolpaths based on the elements that I am cutting to keep it in order, I understand that the cutting sequence follows a top to bottom approach which basically uses the same sequence as the grouping, the problem is that it may require lots of endmill change over.

Is it possible to Group the toolpaths based on the element but assign have a different sequence ( View) to identify the cutting sequence?

Thanks

The order of the toolpaths will likely always be the order that they’re cut. Having a separate grouping and cutting order would likely lead to a lot of confusion and support tickets.

It’s a paradigm shift, but try looking at the job as the material you need to remove, rather than individual features. Then you will start to think in tool order rather than element order.
