How to factory reset nomad 3 to Carbide3d default settings

I was trying to use gsender, and something happened with the soft limits, and I thought this resets it: $RST=* . That just made my machine go weird and now its going really slow. How do I restore it back to carbide3d’s settings?

Try:

  • Launch Carbide Motion
  • connect to the machine
  • click on the version number
  • “Open Data Directory”
  • Delete the .json file for your Nomad
  • quit

When you re-launch, that should cause Carbide Motion to configure things as if you have a new machine — if that doesn’t work, check in at support@carbide3d.com
