How do you fillet the edges of a cube using Carbide Create Pro? For example, say I have a 2” x 2” cube and I want to put a .0625” fillet around the top face. How would I do that?
First, set up a stock comfortably larger than this:
Then draw 3 nested squares:
- one the dimension of the desired cube
- a second inset by the fillet
- a third inset by twice the fillet:
Select the outermost and model it to the height of the cube less the fillet:
Add the inner-most cube to the selection:
and model it to a rounded form scaled to the height of the fillet:
Then select the middle cube and model it to a height equal to the cube:
