How to flatten an endgrain cutting board on the CNC

Hello Andrew,
The bit left brown (not black) burn marks all the way. Since I lowered the speed of rotation and doubled the feed rate, I no longer have traces and the surface is perfect. A light sanding 180/240 gives a well finished surface.

What did you set the speed and feed rate to? Just curious because I’m getting the brown marks too!

I applied the recommandation I got from Martin above…

RPM 18000 (position 4 on the Makita router) and I override the feed rate to 200%

I works well on endgrain and its a joke on medium
