How to make a pulley

Given a drawing of a pulley profile:

One would start by duplicating in place and then Node Editing:

right-clicking:

“Cut Vector”

Then grab the cut node and drag to a grid intersection:

Go into Node editing again:

and drag the nodes away:

and then attach lines to them:

Select and join everything:

Then go into Node Edit again:

Select the lines/nodes:

and restore the circle:

Then restore the position:

(note that this should have been done with a suitably larger circle)

Then assign a full-depth No Offset Contour toolpath with a keyhole tool after clearing the surrounding material and entry area with a pocket cut.
