How to Plunge Cut

I was referring to generating 3D models that are then uploaded into work files or are opened as base files so when you’re designing and running simulation you can spot trouble.

I attended a Pocket NC workshop, and they had given us files of their OEM vice to then go through the exercise of 3D modeling and 5-axis machining toolpaths.

Just curious how many people adopt that approach on our SO machines.

ohhh, so basically virtual pieces to see if they are in the way. that’s clever

I’ve been working on the Shapeoko for almost 3 full days now so i’m not quite there yet, but i love that idea :wink:
