so what is the max plunge rate that the s3 can handle I have the s3 got it early 2016 ish

as of now im doing like 50 ipm plunge waht is the fastest i can go safely …
and like 45 ipm cutting wood at 12k rpm

and if i upgrade to a faster spindle like the dewalt spindle can do like 24k rpm
dose that mean like i can ramp up the feed ?

It will depend a lot on what you’re cutting into. I’ve found GWizard’s feed and speed calculator to be invaluable.
