I am really new to cam side so this maybe a Da! question…
I drew in cad a picture of a shamrock and imported it into Carbide 3d,
when I add the tool path to the outside offset 1/2 of the path is inside the other is outside
so I tried a dxf import same results… any thoughts?
That sounds like you have an open path. Is the vector black or violet? Can you post the file?

I’m with @LWSIV on this one.
Zoom way in at the location where the toolpath “jumps” from one side to the other, and I would not be surprised if there is a discontinuity there in the vector
