Good day to all… am curious… when adding a 30° V bit to my tool database, do I put 30° included angle or 15° angle. I understand it’s a 30° bit with each side being 15°, just curious what carbide create tool database is asking for with the included angle. Thank you
Use the nominal angle (30 degrees) rather than the taper angle (15 degrees) — note that a long while back the taper angle was used, but that hasn’t been the case for years.
