Hi there please if someone can help when i press initialize machine it comes up busy and then cutter stopped responding.
Having so much trouble almost ready to give up. when its not one thing is another.
Power down, unplug everything, gently move the machine to the center of motion for all axes — make sure that nothing interferes with motion — for the Z-axis, if you have an HDZ or Z-Plus rotate the screw so as to move it all the way to the top, then down to the bottom, then back to the half-way point.
Verify all wiring is in good condition and all connectors secure.
Do you have a BitZero? Where is it? Where is the groundlead? Are they touching?
Power up and got to Settings | Debug — are any homing switches or Probe inputs stuck on?
What colour is the BitSetter showing? What does it change to if you press the button? Does it signal as a probe input?
Test each homing switch — does each light up promptly and signal as the correct input? Go out when metal is removed from the sensing area? (assuming proximity switches)
Make sure the USB cable is 2M (6.6 ft.) or less in total run and secure at both ends (I like to drape it so that a coil will push it into the connector at each end).
What happens when you try to initialize? Let us know step-by-step.
Powered down unplugged everything moved to center, moved top, down halfway point.
All wires good.
bit zero is off but located in front close to power button.
Wen to settings -Debug nothing stuck on.
bitsitter shows red when I press it. yes, it signals as a probe input.
Homing switch lights up promptly and signal is correct input.
cable is cable it came with.
Connect to cutter - initialize- comes up error- Homing cycle is not enabled via settings.
Sounds like the configuration became corrupted — reconfigure per:
