Shapeoko 5…(2x4). When I “jog to center,” I’m not in the center of the spoil board. I’m 9 inches and change from the back and 15 inches and change from the front.
Is this “center” always going to be in the same spot when I shut off machine and come back later. Is this a hard wired center or might it be different in a week?
Just wondering if center is as unchanging as left front?
I think they’re all predetermined / hardcoded based on the machine you choose.
They should be repeatable within the tolerance of the limit/homing switches.
You can use macros to specify your own quick positions.
Where the Rapid Positions are located are hard-coded based on the selected machine size and where the homing switches are positioned, so one could shift left/right w/in the limits of the switch positioning.
