If I want to get to the bottom of a category (say, Nomad) the only way I know to do it is to endlessly scroll down. And then about half the time I get the whirling donut of death and need to close that browser window. Is there a way to jump there directly? Thanks.
In what context? Not sure what you are doing but try Ctrl-End
The forum software we use is Discourse — searching on their forum:
I’m not seeing a way to do that.
How powerful of a computer are you running using which browser and at what speed internet connection? It just took a little while for me to scroll down through the Nomad topics to get to:
on an i7 using Microsoft Edge (re-badged Chrome) on the lowest speed Verizon offers for FiOS.
(which is the second topic, but we won’t discuss what the first topic for a Nomad was)
Thank you, @terryawatkins and @WillAdams. Terry, your keyboard suggestion did not directly work, but I hadn’t thought of using the keyboard as opposed to mousing in the scrollbar. It turns out that leaning on the [PageDown] key does a solid job of scrolling down. And I didn’t post until the eighth topic…
Click on “Activity” and it will reverse sort topics by last activity.
CTRL-END works, but only goes to the bottom of the loaded topics, then loads more
Sweeeet, @Tod1d! Thank you! That to me is totally non-obvious (the caret doesn’t appear by default)
