I have two .crv files but the person that sent them no longer has access to Vcarve. I have CC Pro - is there any way for me to open these files or a way for me to convert them to a format that I can open without paying $350 for Vcarve (which I don’t plan to use since I have CC Pro). Any suggestions appreciated, thanks!
In Vectric, you can only export it as an SVG or DXF file.
Send me the file, and I’ll send you what I can.
I can export the toolpaths using the needed post-processor for you if the SVG export doesn’t work.IE if it’s a 3d model.
That would be amazing if you are able to make something work! I can’t figure out how to upload the files. I changed the file extension but keep getting an error when I try to upload here. I think it is just a 2d model so I should be fine to generate the toolpaths but haven’t seen the files yet so I may be wrong about that. Is there another way that I can send the files?
