Is This a Tramming Issue?

Do I need to tram to eliminate this issue? There is a large lip at the end of the contour path and hardly any lip at the start. The distance is only about 8 inches.
This is the start:

This is the end:

If you know for a fact your material is flat and surfaced and the clamps dont have enough pressure to warp or lift then yes. If you’ve never surfaced absolutely do so it’s great. You can zero your stock to the wasteboard and you’ll never cut it again. My machine still looks perfect after a year.

Edit: If you’ve done all of this then its time to tighten your z axis coupler the silver and red doodad on your Z ballscrew

That does not look related to tram IMO. My guess is your material isn’t sitting flat.

The Home Depot ±1 inch guarantee?

Haha, and +/- 35 degree twist for lumber. (I saw a 2x3 today that was twisted nearly 45 degrees from one end to the other…)

But more seriously, I see what’s at least an 8" stretch of board that’s not clamped from above. Judging by the end-stop used in the first picture, it’s probably closer to a foot between where the board is rigidly secured. This leaves it vulnerable to cupping/bowing in the middle.
