Issues with spliting roughing and finish code

Sorry for the confusion. I used the first bit for this carve for the bitsetter hit for the initialization and first bitsetter hit.

When did you change the bit for the second run? Since you zeroed with the new bit, you must have manually hit the “Change Tool” button first, yes?

Ok so this is what i do and have done for a long time…
Turn on the machine, Initialize and when it comes to the front is says put in a tool, so i normally just put in the first tool for the job that is going to run. then i do the zero part after it hits the bitsetter the first time. then i load the file and hit start job. it comes forward and says put in bit whatever, i just hit resume and it hits bitsetter and then says turn on router and starts cutting.

That sounds perfect.

The confusion is that you said you let it do the bitsetter bit and then swapped bits (sounded like it was without the change tool button) and then zeroed and then started the job.

Which is different and will cause problems.
