Issues with stl files not rendering properly

So I can not get the a bunch of sty files to render properly in CC Pro. I have opened them in other programs with no issues. it shows great in the depth map when downloaded but not in the 3d rendering. which causes issues when setting up a tool path for the cut.

I like CC Pro but can’t see me staying if I can’t get this stuff to work. I have deleted the software and reinstalled and still no work still the same thing. even tried to use older versions and still not the same. please help.

What do you have set for Model Resolution in Job Setup? Overall size of the stock?

this is at the highest resolution and still doesn’t render the text properly.

Overall size of the stock?

What does the text look like in the STL?

Upload that here or send it in to support@carbide3d.com

I tried to open in vcarve and it rendered properly.this is the file if you look at the text in the image compared to the file its like parts of the letters are missing. the size is pretty large I have it setup for 12x12 inch 1.25 inch stock. and for some reason the file will not upload.

Please update to Build 833:

and set the Model Resolution appropriately.

ill have to buy this version

this is at the extreme resolution on the new version still no good. parts of the letters N are not populating. still have no clue what is causing it just in CC pro.

We’d have to take a look at your C2D file and, ideally, the STL file.

just emailed both over. also is version 8 not have rest machining anymore?

I believe that while there was a bit of confusion we are looking into things at our end now.

Rest machining is a Pro feature and should show for the relevant toolpath — if you’re not seeing it post a screengrab?

It looks like it’s more of a rendering problem in the model view. Below is what I see with a toolpath added:

We’ll see if we can find where the mesh is being over-reduced.
