Jagged in side pocket

I am just getting started and carved my 1st 3d sign using an image of my fater and law and his dog. Overall, I thought it turned out good. My only issue is the jagged edge being left on the inside of the 3d base. Any suggestions on how make this look clean?

If this is a 3D carve, the usual approach would be to reduce the step over of the final pass. What design software are you using?

Do they show in the 3D preview in Carbide Create?

I would run a series of 2D toolpaths to clean up the edges and define them.

yes it is. I will give that a try. It does show in the preview.
