No idea why you cant jog on pause. Seems like a large omission. The machine should still know where you are when you resume.
Several times I wanted to change the Dust Shoe brush but could not lift the Z axis. Also makes it hard to see what’s going on behind the Dust Shoe if you cant move the gantry.
