Started getting HOM008 errors on my two month old Shapeoko 4. While testing the homing switches, which were all good, I noticed the right side belt was loose. Tightened it up, no more homing errors, successful initialization.

This is one of those things you learn on the way from being a machine owner to a machinist. Many more exciting days ahead! But here is something weird… I have never adjusted my belts on my SO 4 pro. I built it in '21. It’s accuracy is really good and it does everything I ask it to. To be fair, though… I mostly use it to proof designs. It’s not a production machine.
