Just assembled Pro- throwing error

Good morning everyone,
I just joined the CNC family. i purchased and finally assembled my Shapeoko Pro. When I connect to the computerI receive an HM001 error code- There was an error during the homing process- The machine could not pull off the homing switches. Could be caused by 1) mechanical problem jamming a machine axis 2) malfunctioning homing switch
I was able to manually move the X-Y and Z access to trigger the homing lights, but once I reset into the computer I still get the same error.
Any thoughts?

Thank you

Power down and slowly/gently move to the center of motion for each axis — for the Z-axis move it all the way to the bottom, then back up to the top, then to the middle (low enough to see the Z-axis homing switch and have access to it), then power up and go to Settings | Debug — are any homing switches stuck on?

If not, enable the MDI under Options and then bypass the homing switches per:

https://carbide3d.com/hub/docs/troubleshooting-homing/

then test each axis of motion in each direction — does the machine move as expected?
