Laser Post-Processor for Vectric and Carbide Motion

Hello everyone, I’m back again with another Vectric post-processor,
this time for a laser.

My wife gave me a Laser Tree K20 Pro for Christmas so I have
been on another learning experience. I’ve found that I prefer a
standalone Laser post-processor versus a fully hybrid one like
my earlier CNC router/spindle post-processors.

So I am openly releasing my standalone dynamic laser post-
processor for Vectric (with laser module) and Carbide Motion.

Yes, I am an avid Carbide Motion and Vectric user so no Lightburn
here. Yes, it has similar Status displays/prompts as my CNC post-
processors, but it uses only manual control of Z height for safety
of the laser reasons.

More info is in the attached ZIP Readme1st file with the post-processor.

Happy CNC’ing, and Laser’ing now too.

Best regards,

Allen

I was just about to write my own post processor to use with carbide motion for the laser module in vectric! I have tried every PP under the sun to try to get it to work with no luck. I will give it a shot! THANK YOU!

I bought an OPTlaser 45W last year and have only been able to use it with Lightburn. So I am looking forward to getting this going using vectric software

One question, Do you need to disable the bitsetter in Carbide Motion? @Allen44
