So when loading a c2d file in motion, it would be nice if either:
- it only created a toolpath for visible layers, or
- even better, motion allowed you to select a layer to cut.
i am creating designs where there are multiple parts to cut out, and i want each part cut starting at 0, 0 position in motion. i want to cut a part, put new stock at 0,0, cut, put new stock, etc… while choosing the layer in motion each time i’m ready to cut a new part.
in create, i’m putting each layer at position 0, 0 and using the layers with each one.
if option 2 isn’t possible, then just having an option to only save toolpaths for the visible layers would work. something like this…
