LED Sign Advice

Hope i can get a little advice here. A customer has asked can i make her a led light up sign with the attached image. Ive cut quite abit of acrylic but haven’t engraved it much. Thoughts on the best way to tackle this? Size roughly 12" x 12" Round

MCEtcher on the back side so the front stays smooth. Are you going to light it from the bottom with stand? I have seen fine LED standoffs that look pretty cool and might work better for this given the size. You could put 4
In there to distribute the light better.

Im still working out the specifics but i believe the customer wants me to cut a small channel around the sign to add an led light strip.

Seems like that would be visible unless
You mean the actual edge of the acrylic which seems challenging

Yeah still working through the details with her. I do have both mcetchers but never used them. Can i apply toolpaths that will work on The free version of CC? I think the engraving options are only in the pro version last time i checked.

Here’s one I made a few years ago for a lady. She displayed it prominently!

Looks fantastic! Was that done with the mcetcher?

Nice! Is that two layers of acrylic and two strips of LEDs to get the multi color?

Or maybe one acrylic sheet with etching on both sides to separate the colors?
