I have just purchased the Shapeoko 4 xl and while assembling yesterday I noticed after I had attached the Y-Axis Data Drag Chain it seemed to be too long because the Gantry will not come all the way to the front. The data drag chain bunches up. I did some measuring and will not be able to get close to a 33 x 17 cutting surface. Just wondering if anyone would know what the length should be for this drag chain. I measured the one I have and it is 27" long. I could be wrong and have not assembled it correctly but just want to make sure it is the correct length.

If both segments are roughly the same length, you have an XXL wiring harness.

That is kind of what I thought but as this is my first CNC purchase I didn’t want to assume, but have not been able to find anywhere the actual length and it doesn’t state it in the Assembly guide.
