Licensing Question

I have a question. I have an office in my house, and a Shapeoko in the garage with a laptop to run it. I frequently edit files in the office and transfer them to the machine in the garage. Problem is I upgraded the computer in the garage and when I take a file from the office and open it in the carbide create pro it does funky things to the layering, Is it possible to use the same upgrade on 2 machines? Same IP same address. ?

Thanks

Steve

It should work to install the current version from:

A Carbide Create Pro license may be used on up to 3 machines.

If you have a file which doesn’t open correctly, upload screen grabs showing what it should load as, the problem, and a copy of the file.

Now that I understand what’s happening, It’s not a big fix.

Basically, it merges all the layers into one. So I have to redo them one at a time.

When I open your file in build 831, everything is on one layer:

which was apparently caused by everything being selected and grouped together:

If you Ungroup Vectors:

and then move each element of the design to the appropriate layer:

save, quit, and re-load:
