It seems this is a rare problem, but has happened before. Unfortunately the previous post never received a resolution reply.
When using any gcode file (generated by CC) the line count/progress bar remains at 0% even after project completion. If GRBL is put in Check ($c) mode it functions as normal. This began after installing a VFD spindle and modifying grbl to change pin out functionality for spindle activation. I have run multiple tests with various versions of CM 6xx and spindle unpowered. The closest I have come to regaining the functionality is using CM 551, the line progress will update until pressing resume on the bit install dialog window. After “installing” a new bit, the progress bar remains frozen unless in check mode.
I am at a loss for what difference is happening between actual operation and check mode. Is CM looking for some type of verification of spindle activation to continue processing line count?
Otherwise function remains the same, would be nice to see progress incase of failure to modify for resume.
