Being running my machine for almost one year now but on average only 6 hours per week, how often should I add lubrication to the linear bearing ? Have not been lubricated since I purchased the machine.

Frequency is as-needed — I do it when traversing the length of the machine doesn’t leave an even film of oil on the rails.

As @WillAdams routine maintenance is required. However you can lube up the linear rails with a paper towel and some Mobil Vactra #2 oil anytime it looks a little dry.
If you do the full maintenance the oil will drip down the linear rails for a while so wipe them off before starting a project and put a paper towel under the parked Z until the oil stops dripping.
