Little machine Shop lathe - SOLD!

Hello Forum,

I know this is the Shapeoko forum, and yes I have a Shapeoko. I’m kinda putting feelers out to see if there’s any interest for someone looking for a mini lathe? I bought it a couple years ago thinking I would be making all sorts of wonderful things, in reality I’ve probably only made 2-3 things on it total and it occupies some much needed space in my shop. Its a High Torque 7x16 mini lathe, purchased from Littlemachineshop.com

I’ve added the tooling package which include a quick change tool post:

Also added (but never installed) the bluetooth DRO kit:

As well as the tablet display that goes with it:

And I also have a spindle tachometer kit (that I also never installed), I don’t have a link to that.
I have various insert cutters, insert type boring bar, radius tool, and a cover. I put some cash into this little machine and yet it sits in the corner getting no attention:( It would likely have to be a local delivery/pickup since this thing would be a bear to ship (I know this because I paid $170 to ship it here from California). I’m located in Haslet (Northwest Fort Worth) Texas 76052. I know what I paid for all of that and would be willing to go down to $1200 if you came and picked it up for the whole shebang. Not looking to break this up, it all goes or it all stays lonely in the corner of my garage. Any interest here? Papa needs a bigger laser cutter

Man, I would love to try my hand at using a metal lathe, however, I’m far from Texas. I hope you find a local person who puts it to good use!

Oh, bother. I was using “Yeah, but I don’t have a lathe…” to hold the line against a bunch of projects in my musing-upon file.

I suppose you can consider me… um… provisionally interested… but as it’s a bit above the current contents of my petty cash tin, I’ll have to run the numbers past Budget & Finance before I know whether I can be actually interested. (I did check, and Haslet is just a little 7-hour drive from Baton Rouge, so definitely within range – I’ve driven far more than that to collect canoes.)

If any interested party would like “specific” photos just let me know. I really wish I had more use for it, and I’m sure once it’s gone I’ll wish I still had it. It’s a nice little machine.

Nice little weekend jaunt! I’ve been known to trek all the way to Southern California in one shot (about 23 hours with gas/potty/stretch stops). I’ve only posted it here, so I’m not in a huge rush to sell…it’ll likely still be here 7 hours from now! Haha!!!

Figured I’d give this one quick bump here before posting on the local Craigslist…I am not fond of Craigslist.
