My Logitech f310 left joystick moves X and Y (a number of steps per push)

What do the other controls do?
Nothing I push seems to change Z

Can you change increment amount?

I don’t know if I have the same model, but the rear left rocker switch does Z up / down and the rear right rocker does the 4 steps on mine.

Some people have reported that with touch screens that they get multiple steps when they push only once but if you use the screen and mouse you single steps. Perhaps the game controller has a similar action that touch screens have. Perhaps it is the sensitivity of the controller and is detecting you holding the button getting multiple steps instead of single steps.
