I recently ordered a Shapeoko 4 for use in a pretty unusual application.
I plan to approximately double the Z axis stroke and use the machine as a simple 3D positioning system for an RF antenna array development project.
Carbide3D isn’t keen on sharing 2D or 3D data of the Y-axis sled I would need for my design to interface correctly with the mating parts, forcing me to wait the 3ish weeks for the machine to arrive before I can take measurements and start the design.
So since I’m industrious and impatient, I thought I would ask if anyone has seen this information anywhere? I will post a picture of this Frankenstein when finished as a thanks if someone can help me out. Thanks kindly.
