Carving into 6061 aluminum, need to go approximately 1mm deep. Extreme detail work - lots of small lines which are very close to each other. I’m wondering what tooling would be best for this task, here’s what I’m considering:
1/32" end mill Amazon.ca
aggressive vbit Amazon.ca
What would you guys use?

The #501 and #502 engravers seem well-suited to this sort of work.

How deep can they push into the aluminum?
Also what’s the difference between the spring loaded engraver and a solid one?
