I just had a major issue happen with my pro xxl. I was just going to finish up a project with 1" thick cedar and a 1/4" upshear bit when all of a sudden out of the blue, the router just plunged straight down thru the material (sometimes this machine has a mind of it’s own). I shut it down then had to re-initialize it to get the router out of the material. This is when everything goes wrong. The router ended up staying lodged in the cedar and the rest of the Z axis became unattached! Needless to say, the Z axis carriage plate is now loose and I don’t know where to start and try to fix this thing and get it back together again. Any thoughts? This really bums me out and I’m losing production time.
