Lost CC File on Win Updates, How to recover

I lost my CC file, totally forgot to save CC file but was able to generate a G-code. Anyway to go from a G-Code .nc to c2d file?

Hi @WillAdams , is the idea to use the “export as DXF” feature of G-code ripper to get a set of vectors from a g-code file, and then insert that back into CC and recreate the toolpaths ?

There is an Inkscape extension that was created by @ClayJar to convert GCode to Inkscape for that very reason. ImportGCode -- An Inkscape Input Extension

Yes. That’s the idea — of course, one issue is that once one gets the geometry of the toolpath, one has to apply suitable offsets to account for the diameter of the endmill.
