Without speaking too soon, I do believe I have fixed the issue if any one else has this problem. I used electronics contact cleaner spray on each of the wire connections. I have run several jobs this afternoon and tonight all with great success!! Thanks to all of you for your input!
Ok, so I spoke too soon… The contact cleaner definitely helped with one of my proximity sensors but the real fix to my problem was baffling. After trying what seemed to be everything. I contacted support and they were helpful. But the real fix came when I stepped back in my Carbide Motion software release. I uninstalled the latest version, Build 618, and installed Version 5 Build 582 and presto, my problem was solved. I have been running my shapeoko flawlessly since then (except for user errors). Maybe there is some type of a bug in the latest version or maybe it is not compatible with my computer set up. Which seems unlikely since I am running the newest MacBook Air and the newest OS. So if you are having the same issues described above, give an older version of Carbide Motion a try. It fixed my problem.
