Made myself a Z-plus sucker

Finally made the time to make a new sucker.
I just mounted it, so time will tell if I want or need some alterations.
Try it if you want, be aware it may still be a work in progress.

I designed it around the stuff I had laying around, you’ll need some;
bristle (amazon)
Ttracks 19x12,5 mm
Track M6 bolts
m3 bolts/nuts

Though it would be best to screw the Ttrack onto the Z-plus plate, I decided to design it so I did not need to make any changes to the Z-plus. I have an old Shapeoko, without the cable guides, so I could use these mounting holes. Al screwholes are slots, so you have some adjustability.

I included the step file, make any changes or improvements you want, please let me know if you made improvements.

You’ll find all files (including .step) here

Nice ! I like the use of T-tracks, and the fact that it does not reduce the X-travel (or by just a few mm maybe?)
What’s your workflow for changing tools/zeroing though? do you raise the shoe and the collet is still accessible enough, or do you remove the shoe and arms?

I lower it for a tool change, and move it up for Z-probing, mounting the ‘crocodile clamp’ from below is not super convenient but it works good enough. So not need to remove it.
