Makerspace licensing for Carbide create pro?

I teach cam and cnc machine-side training at the Dallas Makerspace, a member-owned community workshop with over 30,000 square feet of workshop space . We have a full manual manual machine shop and 7 cnc machines ranging from our Nomad and 2 Shapeokos to our Tormach 8l, our Haas vf2 and vf3 three sherline and our 5’x10’ multicam cnc router .I teach carbide create, v-carve pro, meshcam, Solidworks and Freecad at the Makerspace and do the machine -side safety checkouts for several of these cnc machines.

We have makerspace licenses for vcarve pro and soldworks that allow users access to full featured programs at the makerspace only . I would love to be able to teach carbide create pro so that our members can make use of all of the features of our three carbide 3d machines, but I don’t share my pro license with anyone else. I also do not believe the pro software license allows us to have a site license that multiple users can use . I breaks my heart to have to teach people v carve pro or fusion for a carbide3d machine , when I know carbide create pro would be better for them as new users . We use the carbide machines as our entry level cnc resource . Does anyone know if there is any way to get a makerspace license for create pro ? Ideas ?

The pro license can be run on multiple computers a single user has. You are just not supposed to run it but on one computer at a time. Talk to the sales people at C3D about the licensing for a makerspace to see what they can do. But as far as running multiple instances of CC pro I dont think there is a check from C3D about if it is running on multiple computers at once just if the license key is installed on the computer it is running on. Hopefully C3D will work something out for you.

I have the Pro license and according to C3D I can run it on as many computers as I want. However just one at a time.

From EULA:

2. Authorized Use

Single User License

If you have purchased a single user license you may only use the Software on a single computer at any one time.
