I teach cam and cnc machine-side training at the Dallas Makerspace, a member-owned community workshop with over 30,000 square feet of workshop space . We have a full manual manual machine shop and 7 cnc machines ranging from our Nomad and 2 Shapeokos to our Tormach 8l, our Haas vf2 and vf3 three sherline and our 5βx10β multicam cnc router .I teach carbide create, v-carve pro, meshcam, Solidworks and Freecad at the Makerspace and do the machine -side safety checkouts for several of these cnc machines.
We have makerspace licenses for vcarve pro and soldworks that allow users access to full featured programs at the makerspace only . I would love to be able to teach carbide create pro so that our members can make use of all of the features of our three carbide 3d machines, but I donβt share my pro license with anyone else. I also do not believe the pro software license allows us to have a site license that multiple users can use . I breaks my heart to have to teach people v carve pro or fusion for a carbide3d machine , when I know carbide create pro would be better for them as new users . We use the carbide machines as our entry level cnc resource . Does anyone know if there is any way to get a makerspace license for create pro ? Ideas ?
