Making a small “dimple” at a single point

Wanting to make a Jokers and Marbles or Pegs and Marbles board.

How do I make a small divot with a ball bit in carbide create along a series of points?

Draw a circle slightly larger in diameter than the endmill and mill it as a pocket.

It should also work with a circle smaller than the diameter — the new beta has a fix for this:

(FIX) Ball cutters now simulate properly again

The same applies if you want to drill a hole. If you use the #201 .25" you make the hole .30 and pocket to the depth you want. End mills do not make good drills but you can drill as long as the hole is larger than the bit by only a few thousands.
