Manually editing tool paths?

Question of the day:

Can you manually edit tool paths in Carbide Create?

I’m am looking at two different surfacing bits:

The first is what I’m looking at most likely getting from IDC Woodcraft. Less expensive and been wanting to get a cutter or two from them.

The second is the McFly Cutter. 2x the cost but looks like it can cut straight down into the material.

If I am to get the first one, I’ll need to figure out how to adjust tool paths so they start on the outside of a project instead of the center. And even “more” importantly, how to start outside the edge of the spoiler board to surface it.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial to help?

Draw up the path which you want the tool to follow:

and assign a No Offset Contour toolpath.

Or, maybe a spiral?
