Max Depth issue

I keep having an issue with cutting a VCarve toolpath.
THE MAX DEPTH does not seem to change in the toolpath/G-code but the simulation looks correct.
I deleted the file, initialized the machine (Pro), checked the thicknes using stock bottom which is 0.758 for pine, checked the bit for the right size (Vee 60), and tried different MAX depth cutting measurments from 0.01 to 0.08 as I am only trying to cut out some stars for a project for a Marine Veteran I am working on.
I dont want to recreate the entire project for an issue I am missing…
Please help. Any and all solutions I am missing are appreciated.

When you are doing a V-carve you can select “stock bottom”

Thank you @WillAdams and @SDGuy for your help.
It was DEF…user ERROR on my part.
I just went through the initial setup due to discussing it with you both, and realized, even though I am using the same exact setting, my ZERO was the issue. Last week, I remembered, I used a board of 0.65 in. and now this is 0.75 and that is a big difference in this new world I am learning. THANK YOU.
Blessings.
