I am thinking that took some time to etch. I am curious, how did you get such deep etches? It looks like the letters were carved. Very cool.
Not deep at all. Just looks better than I expected 
The default depth per pass for was 0.015.
I set the max cutting depth to 0.014 on a pocket tool path.
Manually zeroed the bit on the surface until the bit started to retract slightly.
This is my second attempt at this so I am still figuring it out.
Took over 2 hours to complete
