What is the difference?

Alibre workshop ($299) includes MeshCAM pro which is cheaper than the MeshCam Pro from GRZsoftware ($500).

What is the catch?

It is not “MeshCAM Pro” that is included, but “MeshCAM Pro for Alibre”. It probably a little bit pared down and restricted/gated/sandboxed (I don’t know the proper word).
