Meshcam weird issue

So I had a weird issue when I was using meshcam to cut a stl out of aluminum.
The part is just a flat arm that you mount to a servo so nothing crazy.
I only did two passes, first was a roughing, and second was a unified finish. The roughing pass was done with the .062 and went just fine doing about 440mmpm with 20000rpm with the standard settings. My second pass was with the .032 because it has some small holes to cut. The problem came from when it started the finishing pass first the z speed somehow got changed so that it did like 2mmpm and then just buried into the aluminum and snapped my bit. Any idea on what was going on?
