I bought a Surface Pro with the I5 processor, and it works really well for CM. I see they are now offering them with Qualcom’s Snapdragon. Does anyone know if CM will run on it?
My understanding is that the emulation does not extend to drivers on at least one of the chip sets, so Carbide Motion will run, but can’t connect for want of the driver.
As always, be sure to get a computer which meets or exceeds the system requirements, which at this time for Windows are:
CM and CC seem to run well on the later Surface ARM chips (SQ2 or SQ3?). The original Surface Pro X uses a different chip and emulation system, so those are untested and I would not expect them to work.
