When I try to install Carbide Motion and run it I get
“The program can’t start because MSVCP140.dll is missing from your computer.”
I’ve gone into Systems on my computer and the file is there. How can I fix this?
Well, the problem has been brought up numerous times here on the forum. Most likely you are missing the x86 version.

What is the x86 version?
For MSVCP140.dll missing see: Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 from Official Microsoft Download Center
For more recent versions try: The latest supported Visual C++ downloads — note that it may be necessary to install both x86 and 64-bit versions.
